Crown Software is Major Projects fully integrated business accounting system. Available for many operating systems, multi user and utilising client/server technology it is a highly functional product capable of increasing profitability and efficiency in any demanding business. It can be tailored for most businesses and, as the preferred ledgers within the UK's News Wholesale industry, it is ideally suited to most wholesale businesses.

History....

Major Projects' Crown Software was originally developed for the DEC PDP and later the DEC VAX using Digital's proprietary language DIBOL. Crown Software has continually grown and incorporated new innovations and technology over recent years.

Now written in the Synergy/DBL language from Synergex, the software is available for many different platforms and operating systems including OpenVMS (VAX and Alpha), Microsoft networks and Novell networks.

ODBC connectivity provides access to the Crown database from external sources such as spreadsheets and databases. Crown Software's client/server capacity provides effective use of mixed operating system and network environment. SQL connectivity tools allow interactive connections to multiple external relational databases.
